Terms of Service
Version 2026-06-25 · Effective 25 June 2026
These Terms govern your use of Yanta Audit ("the Service"), operated by Matthias Frank (a sole proprietorship based in Berlin, Germany — full details in our Impressum at matthiasfrank.de). By ticking the consent box and connecting your Notion workspace, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Data Processing Addendum.
1. What the Service does
The Service produces a read-only structural audit of a Notion workspace you connect. It reads the shape of your workspace — its databases, properties, options, and the relations between them — and turns that into a health report you can view and embed.
The Service is built to read your workspace’s structure, not its contents. It extracts, stores, and reports only structural metadata — the names and types of your databases, properties, options, and relations — and it does not keep, display, or use the text inside your pages. To find databases nested inside pages, the scan may pass over page blocks, but it keeps only the structure it finds. The integration is read-only — it holds only Notion’s "Read content" and "Read user information" capabilities — so it can never change your workspace.
2. Connecting your workspace
To use the Service you connect a Notion workspace through Notion’s standard authorisation flow. You choose which pages and teamspaces to share; the Service can only see what you grant it, and it can only ever read.
By connecting, you confirm that you are authorised to connect that workspace and to accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Data Processing Addendum on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organisation that controls the workspace.
3. Your account
When you connect, we create an account keyed to your Notion identity so you can return to your dashboard without re-authorising every time. You are responsible for keeping access to your own Notion account secure. One account connects one workspace; multi-workspace audits are not supported in this version.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- connect a workspace you are not authorised to connect;
- probe, scrape, overload, or attempt to circumvent the Service’s access controls or rate limits;
- use the Service to infringe anyone’s rights or to violate applicable law.
5. Your data and our role
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data contained in your workspace’s structure on your behalf, we act as your processor under the Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Availability and warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the audit is exhaustive or error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under applicable law.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible and on which you may reasonably rely), and only up to the foreseeable, typical damage. Any further liability is excluded. Mandatory liability, including under the German Product Liability Act, is unaffected.
8. Disconnecting and deleting
You can disconnect and delete your account and audit data at any time from your dashboard. Doing so revokes our access to your workspace and erases your data, keeping only a minimal record that consent was given and honoured (see the Privacy Policy). We may also suspend or end the Service, or your access to it, where required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Each version carries a version date, and the version you accepted is recorded with your consent. Where changes are material, we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue using the Service.
10. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Where you act as a business, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from these Terms is Berlin. Where you act as a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection laws and court venues of your place of residence remain unaffected.
